Fall 2015

A HARVEST OF happiness

It’s time to put away those flip-flops (I know it’s difficult) and embrace the changing season. Fall is here and that means there is an excuse for extra honey in your tea, pumpkin everything and to buy that new sweater you’ve been eyeing.

  • While I might not be a cuddly-kind of guy, I do enjoy nights around the fireplace. Since the weather is still warm enough to be outside, I invite you to join us at the AVANT patio on weekends and at Veranda Fireside Lounge & Restaurant for live music. Grab a drink, a cushy seat by the fire and enjoy. We keep it local by inviting artists from the area to share their talent.
  • I love to eat. That is why I get excited for the leaves to change color, because it means I’m that much closer to the ultimate foodie holiday – Thanksgiving! We’ve got specials at all of our restaurants, plus a holiday buffet with a petting zoo and pony rides for the kids.
  • You can even pick up a pie, made fresh by our Executive Pastry Chef Margaret Nolan Carvallo at Café Granada, or in my case five (don’t worry, they’re gifts!)
